Draft for owner approval · updated March 4, 2026
This document is a working draft, not approved terms or legal advice. The service operator's legal identity and address, pricing, billing terms, cancellation timelines, retention periods, and other legal details are not finalized.
Using the service
Slackalendar provides a web-based team task and calendar tool, with optional Slack integration features. This draft describes current intended use and is subject to owner review. No service availability, support response time, or service-level commitment is stated here.
Accounts and organizations
Users are responsible for their account credentials and for acting within their organization role. An authorized Slack installation is not, by itself, a complete organization setup: the owner must be established through the onboarding flow. Account linking uses a separate Slack authentication flow and does not automatically grant organization membership. Organization owners and delegated administrators can use company administration features within their role limits.
Slack integration
A workspace administrator should review the permissions presented by Slack during installation before approving. Slackalendar handles workspace, identity, channel, and interaction data needed for enabled integration features. The exact scopes and functionality are those presented in Slack's authorization flow and the features currently enabled in the app; no additional scope list or guarantee is made in this draft. An administrator may use Slack's controls to revoke the integration. Revocation does not itself specify when previously stored information is removed.
Optional OpenAI processing
Some optional AI functionality may be enabled by an organization. If enabled, inputs needed for that feature may be processed by OpenAI. The organization is responsible for deciding whether to enable the feature and submit relevant information after reviewing applicable provider terms. OpenAI is not described as receiving data when the optional feature is not enabled. This draft makes no representation about model training, legal compliance, or provider retention.
User content and handling
Organizations and users remain responsible for the content they submit and for obtaining any rights or permissions needed to use it. The service needs to store and process submitted content to provide requested features, including display in the web app and supported Slack functionality. The precise service license and data terms await approval and are not finalized by this draft.
Service providers
Identified subprocessors are Replit for hosting and database services, Brevo for transactional email, and OpenAI only if an optional OpenAI feature is enabled. Google, GitHub, and Slack may provide authentication, while Slack may also provide integration functions. Provider-specific terms govern their services. No legal, security, training, or service-level assurance is made in this draft.
Billing and cancellation
Pricing and paid plans are not finalized. Any billing cancellation process and effective date are also not finalized. An authorized owner, admin, or billing admin may submit a cancellation request through the company console. The request is pending review and does not itself cancel a subscription, stop charges, or confirm an effective date. See pricing status.
Organization deletion and retention
An owner may submit an organization deletion request from the company console. A request is not a completed deletion. Data retention periods, request processing steps, backup timelines, and completion times are not finalized. Export is available as a company administration feature for authorized members; the export itself does not delete data.
Support and questions
The public support form persists support requests for operator review. A response is not guaranteed until the operator support workflow is approved; no response-time commitment is made.
Legal details
The service operator's legal company name, registered address, jurisdiction, governing law, liability terms, dispute procedure, and formal notice method have not been finalized. This draft must be reviewed and completed by the service owner before being relied upon as binding terms.
