FIELD GUIDE 18 / 21

Share a read-only Project Dashboard

Give signed-in remote partners a selected view of team tasks, without granting team membership or task editing.

Product guide 4 sections

Create a dashboard and select tasks

  1. 01Open Project Dashboard from app navigation. As an active team owner, choose New dashboard.
  2. 02Select a team you own, give the dashboard a name and add instructions for the people viewing it.
  3. 03Choose and order 1–200 existing tasks from that team, then save. Review each description before sharing: selected descriptions are shared in full.
  4. 04Edit the dashboard to change instructions, reorder tasks or remove selections. Removing a selection does not delete the source task.
Keep in mind
Viewers receive only selected titles, descriptions, current statuses, priorities, due dates and update times. Comments, attachments, other team tasks, billing data and Slack credentials are not shared.

Invite partners and manage access

  1. 01Open the dashboard's viewer management controls and invite a viewer by email.
  2. 02The recipient opens the invitation and signs in with that email address before accepting. If email delivery fails, review the shown delivery status and use the saved invitation's copyable link securely.
  3. 03Review accepted viewers and pending invitations. Revoke access when the partner no longer needs it; re-sending a pending invitation invalidates its old link.
Keep in mind
Invitations expire after seven days. Dashboard access does not create company or team membership or add an active team seat. Partners cannot edit, claim, comment on or change task status through this dashboard. Any separate team access they already hold is independent.

Choose cards, list or full-screen presentation

  1. 01Choose Cards or List on the dashboard collection or inside a dashboard. These preferences are remembered per signed-in user in this browser.
  2. 02Choose Present for a view containing only project content and presentation controls, without the normal app navigation or editing controls.
  3. 03Use Exit full screen or press Escape to return. Presentation is not retained after a reload or leaving the page.
Keep in mind
Full-screen Cards uses 6 columns at viewport widths of 1024–1439 pixels, 9 at 1440–1919, and 12 at 1920 or above. Smaller screens use 1 or 2 columns. This fills the app viewport, not the browser or operating system's full-screen mode. List stays a list.

Keep shared work current

  • Statuses come from the original team tasks. This dashboard does not connect to another warehouse system or change statuses on the partner's behalf.
  • Owners can add tasks manually or use a same-team Add to Project Dashboard status automation.
  • Archived, deleted or moved-out tasks are excluded from shared selections. Restoring an archived task does not reselect it.
  • The page refreshes periodically and on focus. Lost access clears protected content on the next access check; information already viewed cannot be remotely un-seen.
